About Us

About Us

Who we are

NAIFA Illinois member agents do much more than just sell insurance. They provide financial counseling and help individuals prepare for retirement and plan estates. They design employee benefit and compensation packages and provide employers with group health, pension, and 401(k) plans. Our members work hard to see that their clients get the best insurance program to fit their needs.

Our member agents occupy the unique position of liaison between the purchasers and the suppliers of life, health, and multiline insurance and other closely-related financial products. Inherent in this role is the combination of professional duty to the client and to the company, as well. A strong ethical balance is required to avoid any conflict between these two obligations, which is why they must adhere to a strict Code of Ethics.

NAIFA Illinois

Training Events

To keep abreast of the rapid changes in today's insurance and financial services and to better serve their clients, NAIFA Illinois members attend a minimum of 21 hours of continuing education courses and seminars each year.

Educational Programs

NAIFA has also set up numerous consumer educational programs throughout the nation to improve the public's understanding of insurance and to provide guidance to consumers in choosing insurance coverage

Our Communities

In towns and cities across Illinois, NAIFA members aren't just selling insurance; they're building a better community through hundreds of volunteer projects. Whether it's working with the disabled, elderly or homeless, distributing AIDS educational materials, or participating in disaster relief, our members across the state are giving back to their communities in hundreds of worthwhile ways.

Trusted Advisors

All this adds up to the difference between someone who simply sells insurance, and an insurance professional - a trusted financial advisor and important contributor to the economic and social stability of his or her community. Members are trusted advisors whom have earned the right to be a member of NAIFA Illinois
